Corporate Citizenship

Along with environmental and climate protection, corporate citizenship is another key aspect of our management philosophy. Thus, we engage in activities to improve living conditions at all of our locations. Such activities include programs to promote education and science, as well as social welfare programs.


The program known as Siemens Generation21 is devoted to promoting education and the program known as Siemens Caring Hands is devoted to social welfare projects.

Siemens Power Generation provides assistance and support to young people of all age groups. We would like to stimulate the interest and curiosity, and hopefully the enthusiasm, for science and technology and motivate talented young people to pursue careers in the corresponding disciplines.

Siemens Power Generation operates a large number of projects to improve infrastructure, social welfare and education and to deliver disaster relief, not just in emerging and developing countries but also in western industrialized countries – frequently with the direct, personal engagement of Siemens Power Generation people on site.
