Steam turbines of type SST-900 have a capacity up to 180 megawatts. They are used in industrial power plants, in combined cycle power plants (CCPP), in waste-to-energy plants, in district heating plants and power plants in the oil and gas industry. The photo shows the rotor of an SST-900 steam turbine at Finspong plant in Sweden. The turbine was delivered to a CCPP in Barranco on Gran Canaria.
