Steam turbine at Mainz-Wiesbaden combined cycle power plant

With an electrical efficiency of over 58%, the Mainz-Wiesbaden plant in Germany is one of the world's most efficient combined-cycle plants. The multi-shaft plant is equipped with a gas turbine of type SGT5-4000F and an air-cooled generator. The photo shows the SST5-6000 steam turbine.
