Performance Monitoring

SPPA-M3000 Cockpit

Performance Monitoring analyzes deviations from design/optimal values that may occur (gap analysis), e.g. heat consumption, boiler efficiency or fouling. Based on a thermodynamic model, the expected values of relevant process parameters are calculated and used as an indicator for the plant's current operation quality. The module allows detecting power deviations, optimization potential or instrument malfunction early on.

External diagnostic or expert systems monitor individual components or systems and provide evaluation results, sometimes even warnings or alarm messages. The results or alarms are processed with Cockpit Performance Monitoring and are displayed in a common alarm list via the Alarms & Operator Guidance module. Performance Monitoring also integrates the individual screens of external applications to facilitate access to detail information.
