Maintenance Strategy

The solution modules of the Plant Management Maintenance Strategy allow maintenance personnel to determine the right and optimal maintenance strategy and document the decisions made. The procedure regarding possible causes of malfunction, damage and wear of the plant items is uniformly predefined. An individually configurable graphical decision tree supports decision-making and documenting criteria that led to the decision.

Once maintenance strategies have been determined, they are implemented in concrete work plans. These describe the work and the required resources as well as the rules and control criteria for on-time execution. Any failure, malfunction, damage or deficiency of the plant items are systematically registered.

Conclusions and experience from maintenance work can be registered as "findings". The resulting information and knowledge base is used for regularly verifying the strategy. Resources, such as key performance indicators, evaluations, statistics and reports are available to support decision making.
