The more constant steam generation can be held in a waste incineration plant, the higher the load can be set. The inhomogeneous nature of the fuel presents a particular challenge, which lets conventional controls come up against their limits quickly.
The concept behind our hybrid controller combines the advantages of model-based and fuzzy control. Most tasks can be solved here by the basic controller with its model-based feedforward control and the parallel correction controller. The fuzzy optimization controller only takes action to supplement these in exceptional waste situations.
