The SST-300 is a single casing steam turbine, providing geared drive to a 1,500 or 1,800 rpm generator and packaged in a base frame-mounted design. Its modular package design allows a wide variety of configurations to satisfy the industrial customer’s individual needs in the most economical way.
Typical applications for the SST-300 are in:
- Industrial power plants, e.g. captive power plants, chemical, petrochemical, sugar and textile industry, pulp and paper mills, steel works and mines
- Cogeneration and district heating plants
- Waste to energy, e.g. waste incinerators; biomass plants
