Inspections, Assessments and Outage Services
Siemens provides physical condition and thermal performance assessments on a wide variety of power generation facilities around the world. Our range of boiler and HRSG inspection services starts with a historical review of operational data, drawings and modifications. It then proceeds to basic visual inspections and more advanced inspections and analyses. Based on the inspection, Siemens can provide further support to:
- Identify components most susceptible to damage
- Analyze and interpret the significance of inspection results
- Develop inspection contingencies
- Identify changes in the HRSG condition from initial design
- Generate an engineering interpretation of inspection results.
This includes an assessment of operational capability and compliance with ASME code requirements
- Evaluate potential remaining life
- Supply and install all boiler components.
- On-site contract management.
Through the application of a Siemens-developed integrated plant thermal model, we can also analyze for plant performance issues and provide recommendations for cost-effective improvements that can help extend the productive life of your boiler systems.
Pressure parts
A key feature of Siemens boiler service is the design and fabrication of boiler pressure parts, which can add life to your boiler. Our pressure parts and components meet ASME, TRD, PED and other local codes.
